Is Internet Margin Financing applied to all stocks?
No. Internet Margin Financing only applicable to eligible stocks. You cannot use this service to buy stocks not on the eligible stocks list. Eligible stocks are categorized into 8 levels of grading: Grade A, B, C, D, E, F, G and Warrants/CBBCs, each having a different level of Buying Power Multiplier to further extend your buying power. For example : having a portfolio marginable value of $10,000 will enable you to purchase $33,330 worth of stock from the Grade A category. Similarly, with a portfolio marginable value of $10,000, will enable you to purchase $5,000 worth of warrants/CBBCs. You can only use cash available for trading to purchase stocks not on the eligible stocks list. Our system will calculate the exact amount and advise you online on the amount that you can purchase at the time of the transaction input and is displayed as Total Buying Power.
