Is Internet connectivity available for all laptop computers?

Most Standard Classrooms (those without lecterns) have active network jacks for Internet connectivity. To use the jack, the instructor must have a data converter. To acquire a data converter, please contact your departmental Local Support Partner (LSP). The security software used for authentication to login to the GW network is aSNAP. To access aSNAP, one must have a GW e-mail account (NetID@gwu.edu). Technology-Enhanced Classrooms (those with lecterns) have an aSNAP port on the lectern. In this case, only a CAT5 cable is needed to connect the laptop to the aSNAP port. Consult your LSP for obtaining a CAT5 cable.
