Is Intelligence genetic?
Answer There are people out there who want to restrict every mental ability and personality trait to genetics and brain function when it can’t be restricted to material causes alone. This is because they want to deny any reality that they can’t put under a microscope and prove that it exists with the five senses. Honest Science admits that there are some things it can’t know and may never know. Dishonest Science speculates and acts as if the speculation is a proven fact when it isn’t. The worst part is I’ve had people write me about evolution and thank me for my “opinion” when I told them Evolution was such an issue that scientistsz say is true because the words “I don’t Know” frighten them to death. It wasn’t an opinion it was a fact that this person chose to make themselves ignorant of. There are genetic factors that play a role in our mental abilities, but environment plays a roles too.
