My last job in the Army before I got out was Nuclear Biological Chemical Warefare. I don’t know how much the general public knows about ‘Nerve Agents’ I can tell you this much. Products such as Raid are actually small Nerve Agents, primarily containing the basic compound of the Agent VX. My guess is that it’s still yes but it would not work in the same manner that Nerve Gas would work on us. Nerve gas itself is a Cholenestoriod Inhibitor, meaning it blocks the relay signals at the synapses. The really short of what happens is, with the synapse blocked, the brain continues to fire out signals to your body, but your body is unable to respond with the synapse blocked. A build up of electrolytic material occurs at the synapses and your brain signals continue eventually buring your brain out. With Nerve Agents being in the form of gas, your first reactions are going to be seen in the autonomic systems, such as heart beat, respiration and sight.
