No. As access to the Government Deposit Guarantee would involve significant costs for our account holders, ING DIRECT will not offer access to the Government Deposit Guarantee for combined balances over the $1 million threshold. For example: If an account holder has $1.5 million with ING DIRECT, the first $1 million will be guaranteed by the Government for free until 12 October 2011.
