Absolutely. The Peer Assistance Program does not relay information to the Board of Nursing or employers. New Jersey licensed nurses are required to report any nurse who is suspected in good faith or proven to have a problem with impaired practice to the New Jersey Board of Nursing. • Is license revocation/suspension automatic after a nurse has been reported for violation of the Nurse Practice Act?
