India has many crimes affecting the society in the present time among which child labor is the most prevalent and the most distressing issue. Child labor is a complex issue that includes premature adulthood of children below the age of 14. This implies that children are deprived of the joy and freedom of childhood by being forced to work like an adult for long hours. These children are involved in various kinds of low wage jobs like mining, embroidering, weaving, roadside selling, cleaning in offices and homes, and as helpers in a construction project. The meaningful education, training opportunities, and learning process that would otherwise help them be better citizens are all deprived of, leaving them with empty-hands.
