Is in direct injection method carburetor use or not?

fuel-injected engines do not use carbs. direct injection sends the fuel straight into the cylinder, while the other type (usually) pools it on top of the intake valve, getting it pulled in when the valve opens carburetors can use pressure to inject (for lack of a better term) fuel into the carb’s venturi, but it’s still not a fuel-injected engine. others use only vacuum pressure from the venturi to suck fuel out of the carburetor bowl.
