Is implantation bleeding easily mistkook for a period?

I hear alot of women do make that mistake. Many times they think it is just an “irregular” period. Implantation tends to be darker in color or fainter in color (brown or pinkish) as opposed to a bright red. You may notice that the bleeding is lighter and generally lasts only one to three days. I have never had the problem with mistaking it personally, because I generally have cramping that I recognize as implantation (of course I have done this a billion times before) which may be pulling and cramping, generally on one side, which is indicative of which ovary released the fertilized egg. Best Wishes and I hope I was helpful!
