Is iMesh illegal to download music off of into my iPod?
Downloading Music, although illegal is not what people get sued for. They get sued for “sharing” music. You can download all the music you want without getting caught. The only way they could catch you is to confiscate your computer. Every RIAA action mentions sharing. If you set up your P2P software so that it only shares music from 1 folder, and then keep your music in a different folder, you will NOT be sharing, and therefore you will NOT be prosecuted. Im amazed that people still havent figured this out yet. Of course if everyone stopped sharing, P2P software would lose its appeal, but if you dont want to get sued by the RIAA, and you still want to download new popular music, stop sharing!!! Just download all you want for free.
