Somewhat true, though Mexico I would think gains by it as a whole. US has the problem of the illegal, probably drawing on services, definetly on local community services, and possibly not paying taxes atleast some forms. Though they still get stuck with most local taxes, as Sales tax is usually the highest local tax. as well as property taxes whether direct as an owner, or indirectly by paying rent to the owner, then the owner pays it. Whether they pay the rest of taxes is really based on how they are getting employment, using fake idea then they are normally paying into the system especially Social security and medicare. as for state and federal taxes yes they can claim high exemptions to avoid them, but if there working low paying jobs and were actually Legal, they would probably not being paying them anyway, or even getting more money back like Earned income credit, child credits ect. (again feeds the ‘how they also are getting hurt’ The illegal suffers the threat of being arrested,
