Is identical twins a kind of animal clone?
The answer is yes or no. Although those identical twins and the clones have same genetic makeup, their development is influenced by what they are exposed to inside the womb. Factors that could have such influence are nutrition, alcohol, drugs and even the stress condition before birth. Therefore only if the clones were born at the same time from the same womb they will have the same characteristics as those identical twins. Could some crazy scientists clone Hitler or Stalin? Just possible, but there are three major barriers. First of all, they have to get some viable cells from his body, unless it was preserved by freezing or other methods, they would almost surely be unusable.
