Is ideal weight a standard scale or does it depend solely on the individual?
Oz: It very much depends on the individual. There are many factors that come into play, which are genetics, levels of fitness, gender, age, time of month, time of year that determine what your ideal weight is going to be. And then there are different kinds of metrics. As you get older, it becomes much more difficult to manage as well. When people come to me and say “well this is what my ideal weight is”, I notice that they are really talking about their idealistic weight, what they think they should weight. A lot of people are told that there is the 100 pound for every 5 ft, followed by 5 pounds per inch. Oz: Nonsense like that comes around all the time.
