Is ICT introduced from junior classes?
Ans. There was a time when fortunate children in schools were taught about computers. Now, however, in the most modern education environments they learn how to use computers to facilitate their learning across the entire curriculum. The OIS commitment has been to be at the forefront of IT education to ensure that pupils are well prepared to move into the world with, strong IT proficiency. Each section of the school has its own dedicated Computing Lab with PCs configured to meet the specialised needs of the pupils of that age range. So, for example, for the younger children of Junior Section, there are multimedia PCs, cartoon movies and games that can be used for learning. For the older students, carefully controlled access to the internet opens up a truly vast wealth of learning opportunities. This inexhaustible well of knowledge enables interested students to develop a far deeper and broader knowledpe of their subjects than could be obtained if they were merely reliant upon textbooks
