Is Huntington-Surreys curriculum driven by the TAKS or other standardized tests?
No. Huntington-Surrey students are exempt from such state-mandated tests. We do tailor our curriculum to help our students succeed on college entrance exams such as the SAT, but we feel it is important to teach them how to read, write, and think rather than merely to teach them how to take one test or another.
