Is hunting inhumane?

Only a true vegetarian would think that hunting is inhumane. Compare conditions at; stock yards, steer farms, and, slaughter houses, to, living free and in the wild, with the chance or possibility of being harvested. A true hunter always strives to harvest an animal in the most efficient way possible. I have seen the most seasoned hunter come to tears because they weren’t on the mark and the animal’s suffering was more than what could have been. Does anyone cry at the slaughterhouse when the odd one has to be pulled from the transport trailer by chain and forklift because in transport it suffered a broken leg? Does anyone cry when the kill spike does not meet its mark and “this one twitched so much I had to spike him again”? If you eat meat, hunting is far from inhumane. The deer I ate this evening had a greater quality of life and probably lived longer than the hamburger I had for lunch.
