Is Home Depot Un-American?
Have you heard the news? Home Depot has decided to end its Olympian work/train program, the one that many athletes rely on so that they can put in enough time to maintain their Olympic caliber and still earn enough money to live on.
What really bothers me about this is that they claim it's for no particular reason, just that they've done it for sixteen years, and it's time to move on. Why would a company that's created so much good will just decide to end that? I'd understand if it was for economic reasons, but when it's based on a whim, that just makes my blood boil.
Thank goodness there are other places to shop at, because I've suddenly decided not to shop at Home Depot anymore. No real reason, just don't feel like it–so don't take it personally, Home Depot!
