Is Hollister clothes only for skinny people?
I’ve been working at Hollister for about five weeks so far, and in a nutshell, the is, ‘sort of.’ If you’re looking for Bettys’ jeans in a size 9 or above, just ask one of the models to grab a pair for you from the upper shelves. With Dudes’ jeans, the waist size cutoff point might be a size 36 or 38, but don’t quote me on that one. Ironically, I haven’t handled Dudes’ jeans a lot despite being a Dude. (Pardon the cheesy store lingo.) When it comes to tops, there are more XL items available for Dudes than Bettys, but as long the item isn’t marked for clearance, just ask one of the models to check the back stock room for the desired size on the item. Depending on how hectic things are in the store, it’ll take a little while for them to check, and there’s a high likelihood that they won’t have it, but it’s still worth a shot if you’re not in a rush.
