Is Holistic Psychotherapy different?
Holistic Psychotherapy is pretty much like traditional psychotherapy; you meet with your therapist on a regular basis, discuss the things in your life that you want to improve, and together you create a plan for how to achieve your goals. The main difference lies in the choice of interventions used during therapy. Some of the tools in my toolbox include ways to manage problems by engaging not only the mind, but also the body and spirit. When I work with you, I look at you as a whole person – mind, body and spirit – and it has been my experience that people heal more completely when their problems are addressed on all levels. There are a number of links on this website to direct you to more information about these tools if you want to know more.
