Is HMP finanicially accountable?
All donations are channeled through HMP in Australia. HMP Australia is run by a committee comprising 5 members from a number of churches. This committee keeps track of finances and makes key decisions. As a registered fund raiser in Australia, Hope Myanmar abides by the rules in the NSW Charitable Fundraising Act 1991. According to this legislation, all financial activities in our organisation are audited by independent professionals. All financial documentation is also made available to the public.
