Is High Speed Internet Access Required?
Recently we have received a number of inquiries from students and prospective students asking if high speed internet access (DSL or a cable modem) is required for our online courses. At this time, it is not required. However, as usage of the internet grows, and new software programs are designed for higher speed connections, it is a good idea to begin thinking of getting high speed internet access for your personal use. You will have access to your courses for a brief time after the course ends so you can check grades, but you will not have unlimited access to courses, due primarily to copyright restrictions (plus you don’t get to keep visiting on-campus classes the following semester, and the same holds true online).
