Ok, I go to a public high school in New South Wales. I have to say that the teachers at the primary schools get you really scared about high school. I don’t know why, but when i was going from primary school to high school, which was a couple of years ago, the teachers made it seem like high school was going to be super difficult. Luckily though, I haven’t found it to be particularly hard, so far, and i’m in year 9. To answer your questions though, the work is harder, but it continues where it left off in primary school, and gradually gets harder, so it is unlikely that you will find the work suddenly a lot harder. Public Speaking, like in primary school is not a necessity in high school, unless you take on big responsibilities. Some projects in history, english, science and geography will require you to speak for a period of time, but trust me, if you get along with the people in you class, it is a lot of fun, and the best strategy for speaking at high school is to just have fun and n
