Time was, HMS was just a plain old good NASCAR team. Then came the 1990s and Jeff Gordon and Terry Labonte and it started winning championships. Then came the new century and Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus and more championships and the view that Rick Hendrick not only knew how to win, but knew how to win while style and grace and all the while treating his employees as though they had value.And the Hendrick jobs became the most sought after jobs in the sport.
