This is the first time, a New Zealand Hemp Seed Oil is available in health stores and outlets nationwide under the brand name newhemisphere™. In 2002 a successful venture by two Canterbury businesses, Midlands Seed Ltd and Oil Seed Extractions Ltd (OSE) culminated in the first harvest of Hemp seed on a commercial scale in New Zealand. Since then the two companies have continued to produce Hemp Seed annually, under licence by Medicines Control. This New Zealand Hemp Seed is produced spray free and is the only ingredient used to produce the finest new hempisphere™ Hemp Seed Oil.
