Depends on what kind of model you want to become: fashion model, catalogue model, commercial model, or trade show model. While height is not always a major factor, the preferred height for the younger market and women is 5’7″ and up and for males, 5’10” and up. For the classic/mature market (mid 20s and older) the height is not so important. Other important factors are age, good proportions, excellent skin and teeth, personality, availability and most importantly – being photogenic. Having these traits will give you an opportunity for representation.
