Is having sex outside of wedlock a grave sin?
Sweetie, don’t be so hard on yourself. While having sex outside of marriage is a sin, so is telling a lie (something we’ve all done once or twice, right). God views all sin in the same light. So do not think that this particular sin is a greater offense than others, because in God’s eyes it is all sin. Look, you gave in during a moment of weakness. It doesn’t make you a bad, or tainted woman… Even though, there are some who would have you believe differently. I don’t know what your relationship with this young man is like, or how long you’ve been seeing each other. Do NOT feel the need to marry him just because you had sex with him. Two wrongs never add-up to a right. However, if the two of you are in a loving committed relationship, but have no plans to marry soon, I would suggest severely limiting your alone time together. You do not want to put yourselves in this type of situation where you find yourselves giving into temptation again, because it could lead to the end the relation
