Yeah I totally agree with you, it does seem a bit hypocrytical considering all the girls in Hollyoaks are so unrealistically gorgeous. I do think they have potrayed the anorexia storyline well though.

but there not all impossibly skinny look at nancy n the mcqueens n others non of them have so calld perfect body types i think the show is jus showin no matter how pretty n clever u r things nca still happen u cna b insecure n hate ur self in it givs ppl hu r like that sumthin 2 help them realise wats happening 2 them n may help ppl along with other stories that r happening i think ppl hu watch hollyoaks r expectin um 2 all look reli good thats part of the show n y its famouse that a part of it otherwise itl b like eastenders n corri n emmerdales this 1 show things that can happen in younger plls live n anoreixia is a problem now x

I only ever remember one over weight character in Hollyoaks and that was Chloe. I think she started with a eating disorder because of her weight. Nancy has commented on how people like Sarah encourage people to develop eating disorders, with modelling. I think Hollyoaks is unrealistic with the way they are all attractive and they need to cast some more realistic looking people, for teenagers to have as role models.
