Is Halloween a Pagan Holiday and do TRUE Christains Celebrate it?

Halloween is the shortened form of All Hallows Eve which is a Roman Catholic holy day. All Hallows or All Saints Day is a day when the special people God chose to be his saints and martyrs are honored. The day after that, November 2nd is All Souls Day when all the souls of the dead are remembered and prayed for. So, technically, Halloween is a Christian holiday, but only if you go to Mass and conduct yourself as a strict Catholic would. In reality, Halloween is pretty much a totally secular holiday with No religious overtones, pagan, Christian or otherwise. You could call it “Fantasy Day” and be more correct in your understanding of the day as it is celebrated now. And I think God doesn’t mind if we humans get a little silly one day year. The old pagan celebration is called Samhain (pronounced Sahween) and was/is the celebration of the end of harvest and the honoring of the ancestors. This is hardly a ‘bad’ or ‘evil’ thing. Uneducated and/or biased people equate anything that was done
