Is hair loss a sign of venereal disease (VD)?
Secondary syphilis, a venereal disease, may cause a patchy (“moth_eaten”) alopecia. It was relatively common in the past but this is no longer the case. Most patients with hair loss nowadays do not suffer from it or any other form of venereal disease. Does dandruff cause hair loss? Dandruff causes flaking and itchiness of the scalp.
