No. The Memphis Bioworks Foundation is a non-profit entity. GTx is a for-profit biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, development and commercialization of therapeutics primarily related to the treatment of serious men’s health conditions and oncology. GTx is an example of the type of business the Foundation would like to begin to bring to Memphis when the UT-Baptist Research Park is built.
