Is Greek food, dance and music really vibrant?
I don’t think that Greek food is exotic the way that Chinese or Thai food is. Someone coming from Western countries will find the tast of Greek food quite familiar compared to Asian or African cuisine. We use spices in Greek food, mostly black pepper, cinnamon, and oreganon. Some of the Greek folk dances are very energetic, like the folk dances of Crete or Pontos. Hasaposerviko is also a popular lively dance that you will encounter all over Greece.
