Is Great Britain too dependant on imported food?

0

Not only is too much imported food bad for the environment due to transport, fresh local, seasonal food is much better for our health, as more nutrients are retained due to shorter storage periods. And if there is a glut of seasonal food, freezing, pickling, jam and even wine making are good ways to preserve surplus fruit and veg.
