I know lots of people say that about themselves, but saying “I’m not photogenic” is actually a gross understatement. I consider myself to be very cute…unless I’m looking at a picture – then I look like I’ve been beaten. My friends agree. I’ve gotten comments like, “why were you crying” (I wasn’t) and “too bad you had to get the flu right before the wedding” (I didn’t). I like people judging my words, not my appearance. It’s an easy trap to fall into. If I were very overweight (I’m not, but we’ve already talked about how I look in pictures), I might not have the credibility I have now when answering a nutrition or weight loss question.
