It is both the Java Message Service 1.1 reference implementation and an enterprise product. The GlassFish Message Queue is included in the Java Enterprise Edition 6 Reference Implementation in the GlassFish Portfolio. GlassFish Message Queue can also be downloaded as a standalone product.
