Is Gillie Da Kid still beefin with Lil Wayne?
Listen, here’s the real deal. Gillie wrote for Wayne on the Carter 2 and before the Carter 2. Wayne has rocked Gillie’s chain back in the day when Wayne was broke and Gillie was making money w/ Major Figgas. Wayne just doesn’t want to admit that Gillie wrote for him. That’s why they beef, because the truth hurts. Gillie wrote A LOT of hot songs for Wayne during and before the Carter 2. Wayne has called off a show do to the fact they wouldn’t let him wear his pistols, so Wayne didn’t feel safe, cuz Wayne knows Gillie runs North Philly. Fact is, Gillie is a real street dude, he’s in the streets of North Philly 24/7. Dude has money too. The Feds knocked him w/ over 500 thousand dollars worth of herb and seized a house that had about 3 mill worth of cocaine in it in north Philly (which Gillie supposedly ran). He beat both the cases. If Wayne would just admit that Gillie wrote for him (ex. Fireman); then the beef would be squashed.
