I’m glad you asked. And I would say that the ethics of ghost writing depend on the situation and the intent behind hiring a ghost writer. If your project involves writing descriptive of your own experience or research, the work is genuinely yours and there is no problem at all. And if the work is fiction, I have no problem with sitting down to write an inventive work of art and then passing it on to you to do with as you please — for a fee, of course!
