Is getting an Economics degree from Oxford Brookes university has good job prospect?
Its average. Economics is obviously one of the most competitive subjects out there, together with law, medicine etc. The study of economics, wherever you study, will be very useful in life and many jobs across the board. However, as banking/finance is this country’s biggest industry you will find yourself competing against people who would have gone to Russell Group Universities. I’d say it would set you up to get a job fairly easy, and if you work your way up and continue to train (for example CIMA, ACCA exams post uni or even a postgraduate degree) you will be fine. I would definitely go for it!
