Is George W. Bush too religious for the modern American culture?

0

“Freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof” counts for the President as much as anyone else. However, how religious George W. Bush is makes not one iota of difference. Everyone has their own sense of values, their own sense of right and wrong, and it really doesn’t matter where that sense of values comes from. A professed agnostic or devout atheist could have the very same values as George W. Bush, just for different reasons. So what would the difference be? People would have to find a different avenue of complaint for not getting their way is all. The Constitution guarantees that there shall be “no official state religion,” not that all politicians are required to forget their values and become faithless.
