Is Geology considered to be Environmental Science?

0

Yes, it is. Geology have a ridiculous number of sub-fields. Many forget that some of the sub-fields are deeply connected to the environment. Some of these would be global climate change, hydrology, geomorphology, quaternary geology, geologic anthropology, GIS, soil analysis, and all kinds of geochemistry. I would go for it. I’m a geologist by training, but I know more friend with geology degrees that have jobs in environmental science than I do those working geologic jobs. One of them is even a geophysicist by training and she spends most of her days collecting city water samples and doing soil analysis. Another is a community planner and her background is in hydrology.
