No, you don’t need to allow scaffolding on your territory. It is like and building an instrument. The only thing you need to take care of while scaffolding is safety. Last year when I was renovating my chimney I wanted to save some money and I tried to build a scaffold tower by myself. It wasn’t safe and after I got up the tower ruined and I fell with it. Luckily I didn’t hurt too much. It was like a lesson for me. The next day I hired a scaffold tower and I felt the difference between a tower made by me and a scaffold made by professionals. It is safer.

One of the apartments above us (who are tenants like us) has received permission from our freeholder to expand into their loft. To do this, they need to put scaffolding on our territory. That would mean months of suffering for us. Do we have to let that happen? It’s not a substantial maintenance job, it’s purely to improve their apartment.

Absolutely! They are all dimensionally identical. The oldest piece made by Genie will fit perfectly with the newest piece made by Genex. Some of the materials now being used are actually superior to the ones offered when Genie was making the scaffolding.
