Gel is better for hard brittle nails. Gel is more flexible then Acrylic. Acrylic is best for those who have soft pliable nails. Gels are more popular for people who don’t want long nails and just wants the permanent shine to their natural nails. If you don’t like the smell of acrylics then gel would be preferable. Also, if you have problems with acrylic lifting all the time then gel would fix the problem. Acrylics are more suitable for people that prefers long nails. Acrylic can endure more stress for people who are tough on their nails. Overall, nail enhancements are great for nail biters!
