Is Gap Electrical Conductance in Abaqus = 1/Electrical Resistance?

Your pair of conductors connect together and unfortunately, not completely. This is the source of the contact resistance. I see you measured the contact resistance experimentally. Contact conductance (Gap electrical conductance) is by definition, reciprocal of Gap electrical resistance. Neither concept has ANYTHING TO DO with MATERIAL RESISTIVITY. In the thermal world, we often discuss contact resistance, similar to your concept. A contact resistance is often measured and tabulated for a pair of materials in contact. It is reduced to correspond to any surface area, and not just a specific contact. Abaqus might follow this convention. The resistance you measured is the actual resistance, call it R. What Abaqus might prefer is conductance, call it k”.
