Yes it is. The Grounds Division provides light moving services (something that can be done by 2-4 people without heavy equipment) to the campus for on-campus moves on a chargeable basis. If you have needs greater than this, you’ll need to use an outside moving service. We define the second question as heavy trash removal, which is also billable. Heavy trash removal is basically something larger or heavier than can be handled by regular custodial pickup. TOP Maintenance and Related Questions • Are there guidelines about when buildings get a walk through for preventive maintenance (PM)? Whose responsibility is it to walk through and report burned out lights, etc.? Preventive maintenance (PM) is performed routinely on the basis of manufacturer’s suggested frequency and our own experience with the equipment or systems. The PM shop works from 4 p.m. – midnight so they are not readily visible during the day shift. F&E relies on the building occupants and the custodians to report lighting out
