TALLAHASSEE– When new rankings come out, the school expects to be No. 1. FSU’s young creative writing program has become during the past five years what some believe to be the best in the country overshadowing the University of Florida’s, Florida International University’s and even possibly the granddaddy of creative writing programs, the University of Iowa’s. Gallery boss fired after TV show FORT LAUDERDALE — The Broward Art Guild has fired its director, Susan Buzzi — not because she hung a graphic caricature involving President Bush, an Arab sheik and a barrel of oil but apparently, she says, because she talked about it on TV. Buzzi and Alfred Phillips, who painted the piece, were among guests on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart discussing the work. Buzzi was the guild’s executive director and had worked with its gallery for more than 10 years.
