Friends of WFP is a registered 501©(3) organization, as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to fundraising, communications and grassroots activities, Friends of WFP meets with elected officials to discuss global hunger, WFP programs, funding shortfalls and the United States’ role in humanitarian relief. Our advocacy and education efforts help ensure that global hunger relief programs remain a priority for the United States government.
