Is Friday the 13th really a day of bad luck?
I’m not superstitious, but if I were Friday 13th should really be my lucky day. Two of the best things in my life happened on Friday 13th. Nine years ago I moved into my own unit (March 13th, a Friday), which for various reasons why very important to me. I had to move out with my mother and I had been waiting more than seven months to get this small rental unit. It was a day of celebration to me and I have lived happily in that unit for more than six years. Then I moved out because I got married. Last year January 13th (it was a Friday) we got the keys of our own house. The first house we own ourselves (with the help of the bank that is of course). We had to move out of the rental place where we lived and it was hard for us to find a house to buy. When we found the house of our dreams for a price we could afford it was great. Then we got loads of problems with it because the title contained lots of errors and the bank made problems about that. But it all got sorted out and that day we
Whether or not Friday the 13th is actually a day of bad luck leaves a lot to be determined.
If you believe in superstitions, Friday the 13th could actually be a day of bad luck. If you believe bad luck will happen to you on Friday the 13th and go looking for bad luck, then it will undoubtedly happen.
If you live your life like any other day, Friday the 13th will probably not affect you that much.
However, it is still a fun superstition and something that definitely makes up a big part of American culture.
