Is freshvac plastic safe?
In April of 2008, freshvac prepared our original statement about the safety of our products relative to concerns about the chemical Bisphenol-A (BPA) found in plastic containers. Since then, we continue to monitor any and all updates about BPA, and stand by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which released this statement on July 10, 2009: at this time, FDA is not recommending that anyone discontinue using products that contain BPA while we continue our risk assessment process (US Department of Health, 2009).
