Is French the language of instruction in all of the universities in Quebec, Canada?
No. The language of instruction at McGill University and Concordia University is English. The Universite du Quebec a Chicoutimi and Universite de Montreal use French as the main language of instruction. The French Immersion programs are taught exclusively in French, and placement exams at the beginning of the programs assure that a student is placed in the right level of instruction.
