Is frail Muhammad Ali losing the fight against Parkinsons?
He once wiped the floor with anyone who dared to challenge him in the ring. But yesterday, boxing legend Muhammad Ali looked a shadow of his former self as he hobbled back to his New York hotel, supported by a walking frame and his long-time friend Howard Bingham. The former world heavyweight champion was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the early 1980s. Since then, his condition has worsened. In town this week for his daughter Laila’s boxing match, this picture indicates the disease is really taking its toll.
