Is fractional ownership financially better for me than putting a vehicle in a charter program?
Definitely. Both programs are ways for the owner of the vehicle to offset some of the costs of ownership but there are several problems with charter programs. With chartering you must hope that your vehicle will be chartered enough to accomplish your desired goals. With DSI you know up front what your savings will be. There’s no guesswork involved at all. Also, with DSI your vehicle will be shared with other responsible owners who have a vested interest in taking good care of the vehicle and who have demonstrated that they are fully capable of handling the vehicle competently. With a charter service you get potluck.
